About Lowkey Farmstead

Lowkey Farmstead is a floral design practice rooted in seasonality, atmosphere, and restraint.
My work focuses on how florals exist within a space — designed to feel intentional, grounded, and quietly expressive.

I’m Erin, the floral designer behind Lowkey Farmstead. Before shifting fully into design, I spent years as a small-scale seasonal flower farmer, working directly with my own gardens and blooms. That hands-on experience continues to shape how I approach florals today — even as my work has moved from the field to interiors and events.

From the Garden to Design

Lowkey Farmstead began in the soil. For a time, I wore every hat — grower, harvester, designer, and delivery driver — learning the rhythms of seasonality through lived experience.

As my work has evolved, I no longer farm my own land. For now, I’ve put away my work boots and stepped into a design-focused chapter, carrying forward the knowledge, restraint, and respect for flowers that growing instilled.

Flowers are still treated as living materials — time-bound, expressive, and deeply connected to place.

What I Offer

I provide floral services for:

  • Events — weddings, private gatherings, and brand moments

  • Interiors — homes, hospitality spaces, and retail environments

  • Custom floral work — arrangements designed around mood, texture, and setting

Each piece is created intentionally, responding to the architecture, atmosphere, and energy of the space it inhabits.

My aesthetic leans toward subtle movement, layered textures, and palettes that feel soft, lived-in, and timeless. The goal is never excess, but presence.

Seasonality, Always

Seasonality remains central to my approach. I prioritize thoughtful sourcing, low-impact practices, and materials that honour their lifecycle. When possible, elements are dried, preserved, or reimagined — allowing designs to extend beyond a single moment.

This respect for how flowers grow, age, and fade quietly informs everything I create.

Based in Niagara-on-the-Lake

I’m based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and work with a limited number of clients to ensure each project receives focused attention and care.

If you’re drawn to florals that feel intentional, atmospheric, and considered, I’d love to connect.
